We always install and configure the following awesome WordPress plugins that will make blog management easier (unless you tell us not to). If you subscribe to our email newsletter (and you should), we will occasionally recommend new plugins that might be of interest. We recommend you choose carefully which plugins to install. Installing the wrong one could temporarily take your site offline, and too many plugins will slow down your site’s operation.

• Advertising Manager – Manages and rotates your Google Adsense and other ads on your WordPress blog.
• Akismet - Checks comments to help prevent spam
• All-in-One-SEO-pack – Enhanced search engine optimization
• Embed It – Easily embed YouTube video and other media on your blog
• FeedBurner Feedsmith – Redirect your RSS to Feedburner for maximum revenue and tracking
• Google Analyticator – Simple integration of Google Analytics
• Google Sitemap Generator – Automatic Google Sitemaps
• Gurken Subscribe to Comments – Allow commenters to subscribe to emails notifications for subsequent comments
• Login Lockdown – Limit failed login attempts to help prevent hacking
• Landing Sites – Recommend articles for people coming from search engines
• Redirection – a redirection manager
• Sociable, SexyBookmarks or ShareThis – Allows users to easily bookmark your sites
• What would Seth Godin Do? – Display a welcome message to new visitors and another greeting to returning visitors
• WP-DB Backup – Manual and automatic backups of your WordPress database

If you have any other plugins you want installed with these or instead of these, we can do that with for you at no extra cost (with the original installation). Plugins can be easily added or removed at any time during the life of your blog.

When installing these plugins, we will use some standard configuration settings, but you will want to review and revise them from time to time.
