Hosting
There are many companies who host websites, but some do it better than others. I know, I’ve tried many of them.
I recommend the following hosts for your website hosting. Most offer unlimited bandwidth, storage and domain hosting, along with more email addresses than you’ll likely ever need. This means that if you find yourself wanting another blog or website, you don’t need to do pay anything more. Just buy the domain name and add it here. Your site(s) would have to be generating a serious amount of traffic before you’d need to upgrade your plan.
Click any of the Host Names below to see full details of what they offer.
| Host Name | Plan | Monthly Price | Domain Name | Consider This |
| HostGator.Com | Baby Gator | $7.95 – $9.95 | Not included | Wind-generated power cools servers $25 Google Adwords credit |
| BlueFur.com | Mini Unix | $6.95 | Not included | 1GB storage, 50GB data transfer |
| ThinkHost.com | One year | $14.95 | Not included | 100% wind/solar powered hosting No month to month option |
| DreamHost.com | One Year | $9.95 | Free with hosting | Month to month with $49.95 setup fee |
| BlueHost.com | One Year | $8.95 | Free with hosting | “Only” 100 databases, “only” 2500 email addresses Minimum 3 months with extra fees |
It may seem like overkill to get “unlimited” domains, bandwidth and storage space for your brand new website that nobody knows about. But what happens in a little while when your site gets picked up by Digg, or your Google Adwords campaign starts going crazy and driving a ton of traffic. Or your host decides your photoblog or product photos are taking up too much space?
All of the above plans and most offered by good hosts today are very similar and offer amazing value for the money. I have personally dealt with all of these hosts and know they deliver exactly what they promise with the service and expertise to back up their guarantees.
